3. Customs Restrictions & Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed: currencies, jewelry, liquids, radioactive materials, and other prohibited goods. Certain items such as medicines, CDs/DVDs, and plants require prior import permits. Gifts or goods valued over EGP 20 require an import license, while lower-value items for personal use do not. Please ensure all invoices, licenses, and certificates are included to facilitate customs clearance.
